YOUNG AND HAYDEN TAKE DAYTONA ONE-TWO

UPDATE: Blake Young made a clean-sweep of the opening round of the AMA Superbike double-header at Daytona Beach in Florida this afternoon, with victory on his Rockstar Makita Yoshimura-equipped GSX-R1000, as team mate Tommy Hayden raced to third position.

Blake Young led a Suzuki one-two at the opening round of the AMA Superbike Championship at Daytona Beach in Florida.

The Rockstar Makita Yoshimura rider and his GSX-R1000 dominated the 15-lap race - that featured seven GSX-R1000 Suzukis in the top 10 – taking the flag just 0.26 seconds ahead of his team mate Tommy Hayden.

In the Supersport class, teenager Elena Myers raced her GSX-R600 to sixth place overall.
