TEAM SUZUKI RACING news 17 2018 REVIEW The Endurance World Championship’s most prolific team, Suzuki Endurance Racing Team (SERT) is aiming for a 16th world title in the new 2018-2019 EWC Championship that kicked-off during September in France. A rmed with the new factory-supported Suzuki GSX-R1000 Superbike, and with more development made during the 2017- 2018 season, 15-time EWC Champions SERT fought back from adversity to finish fifth at the opening round of 2018-2018 Endurance World Championship, the Bol d’Or 24-Hour race at Paul Ricard Circuit in France during September. Less than two months after the final race of the previous season at Suzuka, in Japan, SERT riders Vincent Philippe, Etienne Masson and Gregg Black started in the leading group and led many laps, gaining extra points for officially topping the leaderboard at certain points during the race. They did lead the official timesheets at hour seven, eight and nine.
