LE MANS 24 HOURS EWC UPDATE – AFTER 12 HOURS

Team Suzuki Press Office – June 12.

At the mid-point of the Le Mans 24 Hours Endurance World Championship first round in France, Yoshimura SERT Motul is now five laps clear of the field.

Into the night part of the race at the Bugatti Circuit, riders Gregg Black, Sylvain Guintoli and Xavier Simeon have so run a faultless race aboard their factory GSX-R1000R after leading for the majority of the race.

After initially being locked in an exciting battle with YART (Yamaha) – who were forced out just before the 11th hour – the team has racked-up 429 laps after taking a total of pitstops.
