1. Follow this link to the download page for the Suzuki Racing Memo Pad if you are running Windows Vista.
Follow this link to the download page for the Suzuki Racing Memo Pad if you are running Windows 98/XP/2000.
2. Open the file you just downloaded and you will be presented with this screen:
3. When the dialogue box opens you are given two options:
“Cancel “ and “Next”. Select “Next” if you wish to install the Suzuki Racing Memo Pad Install files. Select “ Cancel” if you do not wish to carry on with the installation.
4. When next is selected you will be presented with the Eng User License Agreement:
Please select "I agree with the terms and conditions above".
5. Select a suitable folder to install the program to. Program files/Suzuki Racing Memo Pad Install is specified by default.
6. On the next page the program will ask you to install the program to your selected directory, so please select "Start".
7. Once install another dialogue box will open. Leave the "Launch Suzuki Racing Memo Pad Install" box checked and click "Exit"
8. Select "OK" at the dialogue box titled "Application Setup"
9. This box will now appear if you are running the XP .NET frame installer version. If the version is the "Vista no .NET framework" version it will skip to the next step.
10. Select "Next" from the dialogue box shown below:
11. Select a suitable folder to install the program to. Program files/Suzuki Racing Memo Pad is specified by default. Make sure the "just me" radio box is select
12. On the "Confirm Installation" page, click “Next”. The files will now extract to the specified directory.
13. Once the files have been extracted please click "Close" on the following dialogue box:
14. When close has been clicked the user will be presented with the following box:
Please select Yes in the box once you have made sure all your current work is saved.
Usage Instructions
• When the program loads you will be presented with a tab “Latest”. Here you will be able to view a the latest news item on the Suzuki-racing.com website. If you wish to view these instructions when the program is open click the blue, underlined “Instructions For Use” text.
• If you press the button “Refresh” the latest news story will be displayed in the tab area.
• If the tabs “To Do”, “Memo” or “Misc” are selected, the user may enter text in here to remember certain jobs or make the desired notes they require.
• The "Team Suzuki" logo across the top of the Memo Pad will take the user to the Suzuki Racing website (www.suzuki-racing.com).
• If the minimize button is pressed in the top right hand corner the Memo Pad will drop down to the system tray. To bring the Memo Pad back into view, left click the Suzuki Logo in the System tray. If this icon is right clicked and “Options” is clicked, the frequency of which the program checks for an updated news story can be changed. The options are “Never”, “30 Minutes”, “60 Minutes” and “Every Day”.
• “Ok” Saves the changes here, “Cancel” does not save the changes the user makes.
• The “Show” option will display the Memo Pad if it is not visible on the desktop, but is in the taskbar.
• “About” gives the user information on the revision of the Memo Pad and its developer this being MWM Systems Ltd. |
